These terms govern your use of this site and of The Reel Machine's services, a brand of The Probiz Group LLC ("The Reel Machine," "we," "us"). By sending us an episode or subscribing, you accept these terms. We've written them in plain English.
What we do
We turn your episodes into ready-to-post vertical clips. Our AI proposes the moments and drafts hooks; an editorial director picks, discards, and edits before anything ships. On the founding tier, you make that selection yourself using our tool. We deliver vertical clips with captions and a hook.
Your content, and who owns what
- Your content is yours. Your episodes remain yours, and so do the clips we deliver. You can publish, edit, monetize, and use them however you like, with no royalty to us.
- You grant us a limited license to store, process, transcribe, cut, and render your content for the sole purpose of providing the service to you.
- Our tooling is ours. We retain ownership of our software, prompts, workflows, templates, models, and editorial criteria. You receive the clips, not the machinery that makes them.
- Samples. We won't use your content as a sample of our work without your written permission — an email is enough.
Acceptable use
By sending us content, you confirm that:
- You hold the necessary rights to the episode, including its music, its guests, and any third-party material in it.
- The content is not illegal, does not infringe anyone's rights, and is not defamatory, harassing, or hateful.
- You won't use us to generate deceptive material about real people, sexual content involving minors, or anything that breaks the law.
We may decline or stop processing content that, in our reasonable judgment, breaches the above — and we'll tell you if we do.
Founding access
- Price lock. If you join the founding tier at $99 per month, that price holds for as long as your subscription remains continuously active.
- Cancel and it's gone. If you cancel, or a payment fails and the subscription lapses, rejoining is at the rate in effect at that time.
- Limited seats. The founding tier is capped at 100 seats; after those, the price goes to $199 (50 seats) and then $249 at public launch.
- Early-stage product. The founding-access tool is under active development. Features change, bugs happen, and things may break temporarily. We don't promise specific features or delivery dates.
- No charge until it's live. We don't charge you until your access is enabled. You can cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, and we don't prorate.
No guarantee of performance
We don't guarantee views, followers, reach, engagement, revenue, or any other outcome. How a clip performs depends on your audience, your content, and each platform's algorithms, none of which we control. Our work is editorial judgment and execution, not guaranteed results.
Delivery and cancellation
We agree turnaround times per project or per plan. If you need to cancel work in progress, tell us as soon as you can; we'll bill you for the work already done. Subscriptions can be cancelled anytime and take effect at the end of the paid period.
No warranties
The site and the service are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Reel Machine, The Probiz Group LLC, and its members, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost revenue, lost business, lost data, or lost content, arising out of the site or the service — even if we were advised such damages were possible.
Our total liability for all claims relating to the site or the service is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or $100 if you haven't paid us anything.
Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and defend us against third-party claims arising from the content you send us — including copyright, music, guests, or third-party material — and from your breach of these terms.
Governing law
These terms and any dispute arising out of them or out of the service are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Arizona. This section is pending legal review and may be updated.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we'll post the updated version here and change the effective date at the top. If a change is material and you're already a client, we'll tell you by email.
